Job Description

We’re seeking a tech-savvy and resourceful Part-Time IT Support Specialist to provide essential technical assistance to users and ensure smooth day-to-day system operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, has strong communication skills, and can troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or in-person

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

  • Assist in setting up new user accounts, devices, and workstations

  • Install updates and perform routine maintenance on equipment

  • Log support requests and track issue resolution in ticketing systems

  • Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Previous IT help desk or tech support experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common business software

  • Familiarity with basic networking and remote support tools

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Associate degree or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) a plus
